Moore finished after five innings, seven K's

Matt Moore lasted his full five innings, allowing two hits, walking none and striking out seven. Moore was at 47 pitches after two innings. He followed that with eight-, six- and 12-pitch innings to total 73, of which 50 were strikes. I saw 96 mph on the gun in the first and a 94 on it in the fifth. Moore is in line for the loss with the Barons up 1-nil.
