Salem's winning performance at Rays' talent show

I was pointed to this video, in which you'll find Biscuits outfielder Emeel Salem's winning performance at Tampa Bay's third annual spring talent show.

Stephen Vogt, the subject of the story scheduled to appear in Monday's paper, won the first two years and, therefore, was drafted as the show's emcee. He wasn't allowed to win again.

"If Vogt is in the competition, nobody else wins, guaranteed," Salem said. "The only reason I won was because he was ineligible."

Salem's nine-minute show is, in Salem's words, "a medley of random cover songs." Enjoy.

Salem, a former Alabama star, will be late leaving spring camp because of a knee injury. He said he hopes it's only a couple of weeks until he rejoins the Biscuits.
