Alex Colome threw his second career shutout in the Biscuits' 6-0 win over the Mobile BayBears in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday.
Colome tossed a one-hitter -- Taylor Harbin hit a clean single in the second inning -- with two walks and two strikeouts.
It was Colome's first shutout since a seven-inning three-hitter in 2009 for short-season Hudson Valley. It was his fifth career complete game.
Cole Figueroa hit a two-run triple and Henry Wrigley a two-run home run in the fifth inning to give Montgomery a 6-0 lead. In the fourth, Kyeong Kang singled in a run and John Shelby hit a sacrifice fly.
The nightcap will begin at 7:50.
