Durham outfielder Jeff Salazar, who was hitting .216 in 68 games, has been released by the Rays. The Bulls have a full roster, so no corresponding move is expected by the Biscuits.
Salazar, 31, last played July 1. This is his 11th professional season, including 44 major league games with the Rockies (2006), Diamondbacks (2007-08) and Pirates (2009).
