Friday's Rays roundup

Charlotte 4, Bulls 3
Cole Figueroa
doubled, walked and RBI'd. Stephen Vogt hit a two-run home run. Matt Torra threw a book-rule quality start. Bryan Augenstein gave up a run in the ninth.

Rained out. DH Saturday.

Hot Rods 8, Burlington 2
Taylor Motter
hit a three-run homer, doubled, had five RBIs and scored twice. Cameron Seitzer had three hits, an RBI and two runs scored. Ryan Carpenter lasted six innings and Stayton Thomas threw three shutout innings.

Renegades 4, Batavia 0
Sean Bierman
threw five innings and combined with Ian Kendall and Dylan Floro on an eight-hitter. Joel Caminero hit a solo home run and a two-run double and threw out a runner at home.

P-Rays 5, Danville 4
Ariel Soriano
singled twice, stole twice and scored. Alex Keudell finished with 1 2/3 shutout innings, albeit with three hits and two walks.

GCL Twins 4, Rays 1
Rehabbing catcher Nevin Ashley led off the game with a home run and singled. Luis Cabrera gave up a run in four innings.
