Jake Smolinski's two-run single capped a four-run second inning that pushed the Jacksonville Suns to a 4-2 win over the Biscuits on Friday. The Suns scored four runs on five hits, doing all of the scoring after a surprising error.
Montgomery's Tyler Bortnick, the top defensive second baseman in the Southern League, committed a two-out fielding error. Bortnick had just seven errors in 381 total chances entering Friday.
