Durham Bulls manager Charlie Montoyo and pitching coach Neil Allen will suit up for the World team in the July 14 All-Star Futures Game in New York.
Montoyo, who managed the World team in both 2010 and 2011, will be a coach for manager Edgardo Alfonzo, a former Met. It will be Allen's first Futures Game, but he's also a former pitcher for the Mets (1979-83) and Yankees (1985, 87-88).
Both are also former Biscuits. Montoyo was Montgomery's manager from 2004-06 and Allen its pitching coach from 2007-09.
The Rays have two pitchers going, too: Montgomery's Enny Romero and Bowling Green's Taylor Guerrieri.
