Bo Schultz stifled the Biscuits for six innings to lead the Mobile BayBears in an 8-1 victory in the opening game of Saturday's doubleheader.
Schultz gave up one run on three hits with no walks and six strikeouts. In 31 innings since joining Mobile, Schultz (3-1) has a 2.03 ERA and has given up 19 hits.
Montgomery scored in the third with the help of two Schultz wild pitches. Mayo Acosta singled, went to second on a wild pitch, to third on a groundout and home on a wild pitch.
Biscuits starter Enny Romero (8-4), who had won six of his last eight starts, allowed five runs on eight hits in five innings. The BayBears added three in the sixth off Austin Hubbard.
The Biscuits finished with just four hits, marking the 15th time this season they've had less than five.
