Delmon DFA'd by Phillies

Former Biscuits outfielder Delmon Young, the 2005 Southern League most valuable player, has been designated for assignment by the Philadelphia Phillies.

Young had a .261 average, eight home runs and 31 RBIs in 80 games this year.
