Shortstop Hak-Ju Lee is moving up to the Biscuits from high-Class A Charlotte.
Lee, part of January's Matt Garza trade with the Cubs, ranked fourth in the Florida State League with a .317 average. The 20-year-old scored 81 runs in 96 games and stole 28 bases for the Stone Crabs.
By the time Lee caught chicken pox in spring training, he had already impressed the Rays. After missing more than a week of the regular season, Lee started impressing everyone else. He hit .451 in his first 13 games and had a .352 average at the end of May.
