Shane Dyer threw 7 1/3 innings to tie a career high and help lead the Biscuits in a 10-3 win over the Mobile BayBears on Sunday.
The Biscuits showered him with offensive support, pelting BayBears starter Bryan Henry (5-3) for 10 runs in 5 1/3 innings. Kyeong Kang's three-run home run highlighted a six-run third inning. John Shelby hit a two-run homer in the fifth to make it 9-2.
Dyer (6-7), who gave up three runs on six hits and two walks, last threw 7 1/3 innings in June 2010 when he was with high-Class A Charlotte.
