Sunday's Rays roundup

Bulls 6, Lehigh Valley 4
Matt Moore
took a shutout into the seventh inning. He recorded two more outs and gave up two runs. Moore (3-0) had five hits allowed, no walks and 10 strikeouts. His ERA swelled to 1.09. Russ Canzler was 3-for-3 with a double, home run, two RBIs and three runs scored. Stephen Vogt homered, erred and grounded into two double plays. Leslie Anderson singled twice and walked.

St. Lucie 5, Stone Crabs 2
Hak-Ju Lee
doubled, tripled and scored. Ty Morrison hit an RBI triple and scored. Anthony Scelfo singled thrice. Merrill Kelly threw six shutout innings, allowing three hits with four walks and two strikeouts.

Hot Rods 14, South Bend 3
Derek Dietrich and Steve Tinoco each had four RBIs. Dietrich also doubled twice, singled and scored three runs. Tinoco also singled twice and scored twice. Cody Rogers was 2-for-4 with two walks and three runs scored. Mayo Acosta had three RBIs.

Aberdeen 4, Renegades 1
Ryan Carpenter
tossed two perfect innings of relief and has 12 shutout innings since signing. Jonathan Koscso singled, walked twice, stole and scored. Craige Lyerly singled, doubled, stole and had an RBI. Chris Winder walked twice and stole twice.

Greeneville 8, Princeton 3
Ryan Brett
was 4-for-5 with two doubles and two steals. Drew Vettleson hit a two-run home run and walked.
