Former Biscuits first baseman Matt Fields won the Texas League's All-Star home run derby Tuesday.
Fields, now with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in the Kansas City organization, blasted 24 home runs, including 11 in the final round.
The 27-year-old is hitting .238 with 18 home runs in 71 games for the Naturals. He was 0-for-2 in the All-Star Game.
Former Biscuits reliever Chris Rearick threw a scoreless seventh inning for the South Division, which won 6-0. Rearick, now with the San Antonio Missions in the San Diego system, is 3-0 with a 1.93 ERA in 34 games this year.
