Durham slugger Wil Myers is being promoted to the Rays, according to multiple media reports.
He's Tampa Bay's top prospect and joined the organization in an offseason trade from the Kansas City Royals.
Myers has a .286 average with 14 home runs and 57 RBIs in 64 games with the Bulls. He's scored 44 times. The Rays are sending Ryan Roberts down to Durham, according to the same reports.
UPDATE: Rays have announced Myers' promotion and Roberts' demotion.
