Omar Luna, who won the Southern League batting championsnip last year with the Biscuits, is back in the Southern League.
The infielder has signed with the Atlanta Braves, who are sending him to Mississippi.
Luna started the year with the Chattanooga Lookouts, who released him in early May after he hit .170 in 29 games. The 26-year-old joined the independent El Paso Diablos and, in 13 games, had a .360 average.
Luna hit .315 last year, started at five different positions and was the Biscuits' most valuable player.
