The Biscuits, down by six runs after seven innings, rallied for a 7-6 victory over the Jacksonville Suns on Saturday.
Cameron Seitzer hit a game-tying single in the ninth inning and scored on a Kevin Kiermaier flyout to give the Biscuits a rare last-inning come-from-behind win.
Saturday marked just the 16th time in the team's 9 1/2-year history that the Biscuits have won when trailing after eight innings.
The Biscuits, after Suns starter Jay Jackson took a shutout into the eighth inning, struck five times on three hits in the eighth. Mark Thomas hit an RBI double and Shawn O'Malley a two-run triple. The other two runs scored on errors.
