Michael Colla threw seven superb innings and Cameron Seitzer hit his first home run in the Biscuits' 3-1 win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos on Thursday.
Colla (2-0) gave up just one hit, a third-inning home run to Theo Bowe, with three walks and three strikeouts. The seven innings tied for the longest outing of his career.
Colla and C.J. Riefenhauser combined on a three-hitter.
Seitzer, who singled and scored on a Mark Thomas single in the second inning, hit a solo homer in the sixth inning. Todd Glaesmann homered to lead off the fourth and singled twice.
