For Romero's Futures, Biscuits adjusting rotation

To adjust for Enny Romero's appearance in the Futures Game, the Biscuits are moving him up in their starting rotation.

Since Montgomery has an off day early next week, Romero will start the second game of the next home series with Pensacola. It will keep him on regular rest.

That means he'll have two off days before the July 14 Futures Game in New York.

Romero, though picked, won't participate in the Southern League All-Star Game at Jacksonville on July 17. The Biscuits haven't settled on their post-break rotation.

Romero, who is going to his second straight Futures Game, is 8-3 with a 2.69 ERA this season. Hitters have a .213 average, 41 walks and 67 strikeouts in his 90 1/3 innings.
