Biscuits outfielder Todd Glaesmann used golf and a movie to survive his wait for the 2009 draft. In anticipation of being taken early, Glaesmann unsuccessfully tried to distract himself while waiting for the draft to begin that night. The Rays took him in the third round.
The annual draft begins Thursday, though the Biscuits open a home series with Pensacola tonight.
