The Rays have signed their first draft pick.
Right-handed pitcher Roel Ramirez, taken in the eighth round with the 248th overall pick, has agreed to terms with the Rays. Ramirez is from United South High in Laredo, Texas, and will start his pro career with the GCL Rays.
