Jacksonville right fielder Kyle Jensen, who homered in four straight games, and Tennessee right-hander Kyle Hendricks, with two nice starts, were the Southern League's weekly award winners.
Jensen was 7-for-19 with six RBIs and five runs scored for the week. He has scored a run in eight straight games. Jensen has a .234 average and a league-best 12 homers.
Hendricks gave up one run over two starts, giving up 11 hits in 13 innings. That includes a seven-inning shutout of Jacksonville on Monday. He's 6-2 in 12 starts and ranked third in the league with a 2.14 ERA.
Jensen is the third player from the Suns to win a weekly award this year. Hendricks is the first from the Smokies.
