Kyeong Kang hit a solo home run and a two-run triple to lead the Biscuits in an 8-4 win over the Huntsville Stars on Tuesday.
Montgomery took four games in its five-game series with Huntsville and, with five games remaining in the first-half division race, is 1 1/2 games out of first place.
Enny Romero (5-2) recorded a sixth straight quality start and is 4-1 with an 0.98 ERA in his last six starts. He gave up two earned runs on four hits over six innings.
Kang hit a two-run triple and scored to put Montgomery ahead 4-2 in the fourth, while his leadoff home run in the sixth snapped a 4-4 tie. Kevin Kiermaier's two-run single capped the four-run sixth.
