Tuesday's Biscuits game with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos was suspended with one out in the seventh inning and Pensacola ahead 2-1.
They'll resume it at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday with a nine-inning regularly scheduled game to follow.
Though a game ending in the seventh would normally be considered complete, the timing of Pensacola's go-ahead runs made it a suspended game.
The Wahoos took the lead with a two-run home run by Joe Mather in the top of the seventh. Since the Biscuits were unable to complete their full at-bat in the bottom of the seventh before the rain, the game was suspended.
Montgomery scored in the third on a home run by Mark Thomas.
Biscuits starter Merrill Kelly shined, though he is on the hook for a loss. In seven innings, he gave up five hits with two walks and three strikeouts.
