Brett Nommensen had three hits and Greg Sexton two RBIs. Merrill Kelly gave up one run in six innings and Sergio Espinosa threw two perfect innings. Tyler Bortnick reached base four times: a hit, a walk and two hit by pitches. Scott Shuman had three walks, a hit and two runs in an inning. Josh Satow gave up a game-ending two-run home run.
Hot Rods 11, Lake County 7 (10)Phil Wunderlich hit a game-ending grand slam. Derek Dietrich scored four times and hit a three-run home run.
