Bulls 5, Charlotte 2Jose Lobaton was 4-for-4 with a triple and Russ Canzler homered and had three RBIs to help the Bulls beat rehabbing major leaguer Jake Peavy. Dirk Hayhurst allowed one run on three hits in six innings.
Stone Crabs 5, Palm Beach 4 (10)Brett Nommensen scored on a Mayo Acosta flyout for the go-ahead run. Nommensen walked twice, was 1-for-3 and scored twice. In the 10th, he walked, stole second and moved to third on a Greg Sexton bunt. Alex Colome hit the minimums for a quality start (6 innings, 3 runs). Josh Satow threw two shutout innings for the win.
Fort Wayne 3, Hot Rods 2
Eliazer Suero threw five shutout innings of relief with two hits, no walks and eight groundball outs. Nick Schwaner scored, had an RBI and walked. Robby Price was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
