Blake Lalli's two-run ground-rule double with two outs in the eighth gave the Tennessee Smokies a 12-10 win over the Biscuits on Wednesday in Sevierville, Tenn.
Daniel Mayora had three RBIs and reached base four times for the Biscuits, who lost for the first time in franchise history when scoring at least 10 runs.
Montgomery was 68-0 all-time when scoring in double figures. The Biscuits are now 2-77 when giving up 10 or more (both wins were in May 2008).
